We help clever brands find their place on the web.
Web design and WordPress plugins for small and medium sized business, from our web designers in Alexandria, Sydney. Since 1999 we've built hundreds of sites, and lately the software that runs behind them too.
Every brand has a colour.
We'll help you find yours, then build the site. If you need our help with a plugin to develop on its foundations, we can do that as well.
01 · Recent work
Five brands. Five very different websites.
A construction firm, a buyers agency, two authors and our own software company. None of them look alike, because none of them are.
02 · Plugin development
Plugins, built for you
or ready to go.
We write WordPress plugins as well as design the sites they sit on. Some are built for one client. Some we sell to everyone, under the Wondersome name.
Bespoke, for one client
Built around the way your business already works.
When off-the-shelf plugins get close but not close enough, we build the missing piece and it becomes part of your site.
Wondersome, for everyone
WordPress plugins, built in Australia.
Our own product range, sold at wondersome.co. Three plugins, one idea: the tools that run your work live on the site you already own.
What clients say
Rated 5.0 on Google and Facebook.
Nic has been just wonderful. He has played a massive role in the modern design and build of our initial site, and many improvements. (Now 100+ pages, a NSW community organisation.) All delivered with his constructive and drama free manner, efficient informal stakeholder and project management, and huge care and personal service. Good value too, given our limited budget! I highly recommend him as an easy one-stop outsource option for website services to small(ish) businesses.
Nic is always a pleasure to work with, receptive and helpful even when I am struggling to explain the IT issue or website design I’d like. Efficient. Honest. Customer-centric. Highly recommended!
Thank you Nic. You could not have been more helpful to our organisation. You explain things clearly, respond promptly and have a great creative eye. Nothing was too hard for you and we will definitely keep using you.
Genuine know how. Our queries and requests have always been answered and resolved quickly. Very highly recommended!
The name says it all. Nic and The Design People were amazing to take my business website to the next level. Spoke to me in laymans terms, understood the brief and executed to exceed my expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you want a quality site with great results and service.
Nic is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not only is his design work great, so too is his easy going yet professional attitude. He is also a great problem solver and really considers user experience when it comes to website design. Thanks Nic!

So what next?
Tell us what you’re building.
You'll always have one point of contact, and that's Nic. No account managers, no ticket queues. The person who designs your site is the person who answers the phone, and who is still looking after it years later.
You’ll hear back from Nic, usually the same working day.
